Dog Boarding
Your pups home away from home! We offer standard-sized kennels as well as a kennel suite. All dogs get one-on-one affection from staff, supervised play and access to our 9-acre property at no additional costs.
Breeding
The most affectionate, well-mannered family dogs on the planet. They are a perfect addition to any household. Parents are AKC registered, OFA tested and health tested. All puppies come with first round of vaccinations, deworming as well as an inspection by a vet. All puppies are raised on our 9-acre property.
Doggie Daycare
Is your dog cooped up all day while you’re at work? We can help with that. All dogs receive one-on-one affection from staff as well as supervised play inside and outside in our 1-acre fenced in area.

Our World
Ballinger’s Berners & Boarding all started with a ring. Owner, Spencer Ballinger, proposed to his wife, Kristin Ballinger, with our Bernese Mountain Dog, Harley, in August 2024. This sparked the idea of dog boarding and eventually providing others with the joy and excitement of the breed.
We live in La Fontaine, Indiana, on 9 acres. This allows us to do what we do. We don’t believe dogs should be cooped up in kennels all day, only having access to a standard run. We believe dogs should run, play and enjoy their stay while being boarded.
We have five dogs personally and are very passionate dog lovers. You never have to worry if your dog is loved and cared for while at our facility.
